Spent about 4 hours running TIG on 308 and 316 today. Got some practice in pretty much every position imaginable and some that bench welders can't imagine. If you're not contorting yourself into a pretzel is it really even welding?

I'm not the best welder but I'm the best welder I have on my shift..

Let it snow. Maintenance will report.

We may have to close the plant for weather, almost unheard of!

Amazon is getting to be a real disgrace with their delivery drivers. The driver said the package was handed directly to a resident 45 minutes ago. But nobody was handed anything and I walk out front of the house and it’s sitting in the middle of the sidewalk.

I live in a rural area. About a week ago I received a delivery notice on my phone. It was already dark., I checked my porch, then walked up my walkway to check in front of my garage, where they have been known to leave things occasionally. As I was returning to the house my neighbor came over and handed me my packages. The driver had left them in the middle of her long driveway, which has no lights but plenty of auto traffic from her family. When I go back to the house and checked my phone, the driver had stated he left it in "the mailroom." LOL. It's a wonder it wasn't run over.
