And...... I need an overhead powerline to my shop moved before the building can be erected. Sparky looked at the job last Aug. Said to call him when I know the building is coming... I called yesterday morning, and last nite...left voicemail. No call back, yet.

If I have to I can cut the tri plex loose from my shop but it's friggin winter now and I need power in my shop! If Sparky would just call and say he can, or can't do it. It would be a miracle if I can get a different sparky here on short notice.

Seems like everything I try to do these days is a PITA. :bananadead:

plenty of people eat squab. I’m sure smoking it could only improve it. I’m not eating it either way.

Same way I feel about wild duck. I’ve seen one of the biggest areas they feed around here and it’s disgusting. It’s the wastewater treatment plant where they make Dillo-dirt. Fertilizer made from human flushings. Definitely not eating that.

Well you shouldn’t eat human flushings. That seems kind of gross.

it has been a bit chaotic lately at work, and Been working on getting a few things for the garage. biggest was just getting it clean up from years of stuff in storage. A lot better than before, but still needs some work to get it to the point I want.

    20201129_154616.jpg

I recently pick up a TIG welder, and have been working at learning a new skill, all my previous welding was with a Lincoln 225 and that was over 20 years ago. and some wire welding with a crappy little 120v flux core machine.

after a few days of practice on scrap metal, I decide to throw caution to the wind and build something useful.

    20201130_120928 (1).jpg

went from a couple pieces of steel tube to...

    20201201_184625.jpg
overall pleased with how it turned out, even though I am not wild about how the mounting plate ended up...

    20201130_155022 (2).jpg

considering I have never tig welded up until a couple weeks ago.. but to me it looks pretty good.
