Most often with the vise upside down the screw is exposed enough to do what needs done.

Those parts are expensive I have been lucky to make my own parts to get vises up and working.

Same here. Went for the tour last year as part of a friend’s bday party. Tour was cool, but I don’t like their beer.

Got the 4 wheeler from the shed into the shop at the house. Have a new muffler, rear brake disc and pads, stuff to rebuild the rear caliper and slave cylinder, new tail light, air filter, oil filter, and tires.

I ask one of our customers a few months ago if he knew anybody that had a 4WD four wheeler for sale, he said I do. He’s young, maybe 17. He said I’ll bring it by and let you see it next week.

I said how much? He said $1,200. I said how about $800 it needs some work. He said I can’t do it with the new tires, how about $1,000? I said new tires? He said yeah I’m going to pick them up Monday. Deal. It’s been sitting in the shed for a couple months and I haven’t seen him since. He’s a good kid, I know it’s not hot :D

After getting leaves up today, Cole ask could he mow the yard. He rides his 1963 John Deere 110 around my dad gave him and says he’s mowing. We have the deck but it’s not on. I had just got out of the shower, wife is at the store next door working and I heard the mower cut off.

She comes in in a panic and says put pants on quick, Cole is okay but scared to death.

Some how he wasn’t paying attention and ran into our well. The mower was sitting on top of the concrete, wife and I pushed it off. Busted the elbow and burnt the short piece of pipe with the belt before it cut off.

Off to the hardware store I go and get a short piece of pipe and new elbow. Also grabbed a chain vise grip to hold the water line up with the well pump attached while I repaired it. It’s 200’ deep and I didn’t want to lose it.

Luckily Cole’s okay and hopefully learned a valuable lesson. He was supposed to come hunting with me today but to punish him, it’s just me and Mr. TC Venture :D

We had a long talk, y’all are right, glad he’s okay, that’s what matters. I know this will stick with him forever and hopefully he learns and grows from it.

I got a new Yamaha 450 Kodiak about six weeks ago. Installed front brush bar. Just got a rear bumper. In process of installing a back up light and 2 extra front lights. The 4wheeler sure made it easy getting my deer out.

    Glad he's ok.
Those old John Deere's sure are tough.

They’re heavy too, it was all the wife and I could do to get it off. I should have gotten the tractor out with the loader but I was mad and just wanted to fix it

Not yet but it sure is a beautiful afternoon to hunt. Been windy all day but it laid about 30 minutes ago.
