    I was extremely lucky myself... Having waited a couple of months already; looking at 3-4 additional months' wait would not be easy to pull off... I was very lucky to snag mine - just happened to take a peek at dealer's inventory - and I was the first one to call... seems to have been one of the last ones delivered in this batch - unless there are a few more in transport...

    @AutoTaco - Are you able to feel the weight of the Sliders? (What would you estimate the weight is?) - I do want to have the protection provided by the sliders for those necessary instances. But I will not be needing it but for a handful of times per year. Of course they will also serve as steps on a daily basis...

    I am not able to feel the weight of the sliders. I think they may be 80 lbs each? It would be akin to having another passenger in the vehicle is all.

    Dogs have always been family in my life. I’m quite certain that my dad has some sort of magic with dogs— they are drawn to him.

    Zeppelin, the black lab above loves riding in the truck. I unfortunately lost my best friend of 13 years, Atticus, in August before I got the truck. He would have loved it and thought he was big stuff riding around in it.
