As the market crashes and gas prices start rising late January the prices will go up even more.

The price of steel will go up so the price of the bumpers will go up also, That's what I am figuring he was talking about.

side-5part.jpg front-5part.jpg two-part&wench.jpg My Ebay bumper store. In 2018 I bought the two part bumper. See picture. It was a pain to put on and get right with just me and a engine hoist. I installed a X-Bull 13000 winch along with it. Two days after that picture the wireless function of the winch kicked in while I was at work. The winch nearly pulled itself off the bumper before the winch fell apart. Fast forward to Nov. 2020. A car pulled out in front of me and hit the front right side. Damaged the control arms, steering, headlight and scratched the bumper. The insurance company wanted to re-powder coat the bumper. That would have taken about 5 weeks to have done and cost almost as much as a new bumper. They replaced the bumper with the 5 part bumper. I think it looks good. I just need to find fog/running lights that fits VA's inspection requirements.

It doesn't look like much but it was over 7K. By the way, I had the frame replaced under the recall last year. :)

I'm glad they fixed you and didn't total an '07 with $7k in damage. I hope someone got a lightly scratched 2 piece bumper for a good deal.

Stupid question I'm sure, but would my Gen2 2013 fog lights still work with this bumper?

Not easily. It will take some creativity.
I used some rubber pipe couplings to MacGyver the ones on my 2010. I think your 2.5 lights are smaller then my 2.0 gen.

Not a stupid question. Like "MadRussian" said - you may be able to jerry rig them in, but it's definitely not a direct fit. Your best bet (and what I did) is buy some cheap LED fogs off Amazon ($20) and mount those. They usually come with the correct general mounting hardware for this type of application. You can splice them into your fog wiring so the OEM button keeps its function.

I know this thread exists and wanted to share my experience, purchased last week off eBay for $560ish shipped and I got the second DV8 bumper version which is the All Pro bumper still only made slightly differently. Overall fitment was great, packed very well, shipped to me in 6 days and came without damage. Two boxes were heavy as hell but I put a Badlands Apex 12k winch in there and it fit great even with the control box. 270 pounds all together! Used a jack to get certain holes to line up but fitment overall was solid. I’m a welder and an iron worker so really the install was easy for me. Def recommend doing this with another friend who is handy especially when it comes to measuring and lining the fitment up with a jack. Leave all the hardware a little loose until you get everything bolted up and are ready to set everything! Pretty wild that I got this bumper setup delivered to my door for under $600 and between the bumper and winch I was under $1k.... (coupons and got open box deal on apex winch which is normally $599 and was just brought down from $799)!

Can’t believe the deal I got on it all! I honestly didn’t know I was ordering a DV8 bumper until I saw the DV8 logo on the boxes! This is a $969.99 bumper plus shipping I think on their site!

Also, I’d recommend ordering a skid plate at the same time! I was unable to use my stock skid plate with this bumper as noted in this thread so now I am waiting on an all pro aluminum skid in the mail!

    lookin good
Also, yes you can use the stock skidplate. At least with the original bumper. I reinstalled the stock skid with no issues. The current one might be different.
