Covid cut back on my tailgating this season, but I’ve had it installed since last Black Friday. A year later and it’s help up great with a bunch of make shift tailgates. Works perfect with my Blackstone grill for breakfast, food prep on the side, and my beer on a flat surface.

 

Put some Rekgen mudflaps on today.

Any one install new seat replacement covers themselves? Is it easy enough or is it just worth the money to have them professionally installed?

Nice wheels! I was getting a little rub, too. Took off the flaps and seemed to take care of it. Wondering if I’ll miss those though. Yanked off the chin strap while I was at it.

 

been working on my Armageddon Armor DIY bumper the past few weekends. Finally got to wrap it up today and get it mounted. Definitely an undertaking, but it came out pretty good. Probably gonna go with a Smittybilt x20 winch and Diode Dynamics Amber light bar.

I let the pro's do it when I got Katzkins. They had the tools to get it right. I'll stick to the wrenches. JMO

 

That’s exactly my opinion as well. I ain’t the best at finess and I’ll admit it. you think the Katzkins are worth the price tag? I think they are about 1.5 times the price of leatherseats.com but I will say the katzkins look amazing

 

At 02:40 in the Victory video, it shows him having to remove the step pad in-situ before removing the whole bumper? That doesn't help @Taco_mike73's situation.

It's the price we pay for not having a heated garage. I've paid $50 for next-day shipping on $30 parts a few times, just so I could install them before it got cold up here.

 

Removing the 12v socket was a bit frustrating but once that was out, it was a piece of cake.

 

I've always had leather in my vehicles. This is the first time I have used Katzkins and I love them. I think they are better than the stuff Toyota offers. I think I paid around $1650 installed. They have to cut your original covers off. Katzkins are replacements, not covers.
