    Lately my wifey has been on a Metal kick listening to Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Scorpions, etc.
    Which is fine with me, I learned how to play guitar playing all that stuff in the early 80's.
    It's just kinda cute when she says "you gotta hear this song by Judas Priest called Hell Bent For Leather", as if I haven't already heard it thousands of times.

    Our "Christmas Convoy" just passed through my neighborhood. Bunch of local businesses got together and decorated various vehicles with lights - dump trucks, cement trucks, tow trucks, flat beds hauling excavators and stuff - and are driving around town together in a parade of sorts. I didn't think it was going to be much, thought maybe it would be a dozen or so rigs. No. More like 50. Took them 20 minutes to clear the block. Some of them looked pretty nice.
