Just got my first Toyota!

Hey guys last night got my first ever 1994 Toyota truck 4x4 , she's a little rough but it runs. It runs pretty rough and the timming needs to be set. This is my first ever project truck, and having limit experience pretty excited. Only 18 so my budget is limited and my time due to going to school to become a mechanical technician (Industrial Mechanic with more schooling basically) So I will have lots of questions.

Noticed there isn't a Toyota truck specific forum so wondering where to post my questions.

Welcome, Shes a beauty!! A Friend of mine had a 92, it ran forever.

 

Ye i guess so, buddy tried to make something and that what he made. Got a new front fender, which he took it off in order to make that fine thing. Haven't gotten around to take it off yet and put on the new fender.

 

May I make a suggestion? I would paint the lime green with black primer, paint the roof with black primer, paint the shiny black fender with you guessed it black primer. Lose the snorkle, it will look a much better. You can do all that for about 10 bucks.

 

Welcome I have a 92. There really isn't a place on this forum since it's a tacoma forum but i like to think our trucks are reall old tacomas even though its a pickup lol.

Exactly the way I like to think it would be nice if they made a section for us. Do you know any other forums that are good for information?

As you say, she may be a little rough now. But with some TLC you'll get her in shape.

And how many people have a 1994? Pretty unique rig in my book.
