In from of my friend’s house...

 

My truck has a drinking problem!

 

This adds up to an average of just under 15 MPG, though actually I probably got a bit more than that; My truck averages around 17 MPG around town and 20-22 on the highway...

I’d expect more from a 4-banger!

 

Plus it’s been warmer the last day or so and I’ve been running the A/C simultaneously with the defogger, so that probably doesn’t help...

 

Sick of these assholes illegally bright headlights, and I finally did something I’m not proud of...

Some prick in a Dodge Ram 2500 had obnoxiously bright lights that were literally burning my retinas; I thought his brights were on, and got out of my truck, where I screamed at him to “Please turn his freakin’ brights off.”

Turns out his brights were NOT on and he flashed them to show this; His headlights are just obnoxiously bright.

I got back in my truck and he proceeded to tailgate me through Doylestown, then turned on his LED light bar before making a right turn, at which point I gave him the finger; I thought this was the end of it and continued to Peddler’s Village...

 

I came to a four-way intersection at about the same time a lifted white Dodge Ram did, and he flashed his brights to let me know I could go first...

I thought for a second that this truck looked familiar, but then thought there’s no way in hell it could be the sale guy; WRONG!

As I was making a left, that damn LED lightbar came on right in my eyes!

Seeing as I probably have the only Tacoma with Christmas lights on it in the Delaware Valley, he knew it was me before I knew was him, and I fell right into his trap...

 

I'll bet you have been idling it more than usual..just a guess. I still get 20 city in the winter from mine

 

On a much more positive note, I encountered this in Peddler’s Village...

A guy used his truck and some string lights to propose to his girlfriend!

 

Will the red one be beyond salvation for the new owner?

 

Today was the first time l drove my truck in about 2 weeks, was pleasantly surprised to watch the gas needle go all the way to full as l dont even remember buying gas.

 

Its that Atkinson Cycle technology combined with the fact that your truck has a third pedal...

 

Then why aren’t you keeping it and fixing it?

 

I have been pretty happy with the MPGs on this truck, does better than my previous 2nd Gen's.
