    Recently:

    LCAs replaced
    Lower shock bearings replaced
    Tires and wheels checked/rotated
    Alignment done

I’m getting a hollow sounding clunk on sharp bumps noticeably under about 30mph. Sounds/feels like it’s on the drivers’ side. It’s not, but sounds like a loose battery or something heavy bouncing around on the floor... sort of a ‘clunk dunk’ when I hit a manhole or storm drain...

I’m gonna block it up and start checking, jerking, yanking, re-torquing things tomorrow. Thoughts on what to zero in on..?

Maybe, maybe not... they were definitely squeaking and were fairly rusted up inside the bushing/cam bolts, but they were the first step in isolating the frozen shock bearing which was the main culprit of the noises

(and salt on the roads is a thing here)

My first thought was your LCA bushings (notorious for clunks) but since you replaced those and sure they’re torqued to spec check out your sway links and bushings. I upgraded to moog parts.

I was actually thinking about unhooking the sway bar and going for a ride as a starting point...

Not a bad idea. I bought the poly bushings with zerc fitting links if you end up isolating it.

Was your frozen shock bearing squeaking or making clunks? I still haven’t isolated my clunk but it could be the LCA bushings doing their thing still.

    squeaking...

fused solid. I put it in the vise and beat on a 3’ chro-mo rod with a crack hammer and it wouldn’t even budge.

You can’t just unhook it. It will destroy the CV boot.

    - the ‘o’ ring “seal” is for shit
    - proly a lot of force/heat concentrated in a small area
    - Water gets trapped inside the mounting gussets
    - the ‘sphere’ leaves the race as it pivots and brings crud ‘inside’ the bearing

It didn’t when I had it off for awhile...

(ETA: you meant just unhook it and let it flail around like a meat grinder... gotcha. I’m dumb, but not quite that dumb)

There’s a huge difference between removed and just disconnected.

I had to do mine at 58k because the lower ball joints FAILED (on a parking lot queen.) Easier to replace than fuss with changing the ball joints on an item Toyota says to replace. Not as uncommon as I had hoped when I bought the truck.

My first thought; sway bar links. The BP-51 wasn't available when I went OME lift but the lift didn't include any relocation brackets for the sway bars. Mine are close but never any clinks.
