according to this guy in the mountain hatch thread his panel came with the longer screws...

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/mountain-hatch-thread.664540/page-10#post-24668569

btw: i'm on the fence on getting this panel also until Mountain Hatch fixes the fitment/alignment issues.

Took the family for a drive through the Pittsburgh Zoo to see the Christmas lights.
Hmm, I wonder if it’s considered off roading if you are driving on what is normally a paved foot path that goes through the entire zoo.

On a side note, the new Rav 4 radio knobs look pretty stock at night.

When we leave the grocery store we load those up in the back of the truck and folks look at us like we're crazy. Ever try to unlock the door with 5 bags in each hand..lol. I found those a a farm and fleet up here and were $9.99 each. I have 6 now. LOL

Meso black out kit, trd push button, and taco garage DMM installed! Stoked on these small additions, they’ve been sitting in my mod bag for too long and finally got a chance to install now that grad school semester is over. No more phone falling off magnetic mounts while offroading and cracking screens!

Interesting, mine fit perfectly (I got it around last summer)

Friday I took my truck to get its first dealership service. Already have 5500 miles on it, would have done it Wednesday but I was sick and wasn’t feeling it.

I did the same thing on Friday, but only have 2500 miles on mine. I was impressed that the dealership actually rotated the tires like they were supposed to. I marked my tires with pen to check afterwards. According to my dealership they only change the oil every 10,000 miles. Maybe my oil will get changed in a year or so then with the amount I drive the truck. o_O

Lol bro... damn I did that last night with a pillar laid upon there installing the pods. I’m pissed about it but damn they must scratch easy as fuck. You could’ve just liked my pic instead of calling me out though? I should’ve laid a towel over the dash I guess... prying tools were used and even they rough up the vinyl in this truck if your not super careful I’ve noticed

I love 'em. They definitely give the front end a more aggressive look. Output is perfectly fine in my eyes. Not completely set on selling my retrofits, if I do this site will be the first place I post them.

No issues as of yet but I hear ya. One of the very next things on the list is to ditch the steps and grab up some sliders.

Not stupid.......These particular cases are Plano rifle case and yes they are attached with a simple drilling, bolts, washers and wingnuts. As of now, I keep tools and recovery gear in them.

Thanks for this ... I have had my eye on this product for some time but this just seems ridiculous. You are not the first person here who has had this problem. I don't know this company ... and I don't wish bad things on any small business ... but it just seems like this is not a very complicated thing to do correctly.

I mean it sucks, but good sound sometimes costs way more than we planned. Toyota uses plastic panels that have the rigidity of a candle.
