Why didn’t you fix the red one instead of buying the white one?

I would buy a 2016-2019 Tacoma, but at this moment I can tell you that I don’t think I’m ever going to buy a brand new Tacoma again (I technically got my current truck new, but it didn’t become “mine” in a legal sense until my dad signed the title over to me in September 2016). I don’t like the way things are going with the 3rd Gen, with all the techno-crap, and especially with the removal of CD players for the 2020 model year. I would not be surprised if I go to my grave without ever buying a brand new vehicle!

In my quest for the “Perfect 5-lug RC” in a “Built the way Toyota should have built it” format, I am now considering adding power heated mirrors to my truck!

Getting the mirrors and the dashboard switch to control them cheap will not be an issue, but I am wondering how hard it would be to plug them into the electric system...?

Even in the shittiest parts of Philly, you’re not gonna find any type of residential property for less than a Tacoma in my area; I’ve seen shitty rowhomes in Philly going for $105K in the last decade or so...

I wouldn’t mind a 30-year mortgage at $800 a month! I could actually afford that right now, and my credit is good enough that I could probably get a really low interest rate!

My friend lives in Gilbertsville, PA; He paid just under $290K cash for his house and his taxes and insurance combined are like $2,500 a year!

Exactly what you’re supposed to do to avoid paying mortgage insurance!

Especially on a house that’s cost less than my dad’s Yukon! Seriously, I’m jealous of you and your house!

What really stinks is that my truck doesn’t have the same door size as an AC or DC; If this this were the case, I’d buy the necessary parts from a salvage yard and put them in my truck...

How many people have added power lock systems to their base model 2nd Gen RCs?

Petty thing to do, but if you had his license plate you could call the police. In a lot of places light bar use on the street is illegal. But since you couldn't see, I doubt you had his plate number.

You've got an auto, but when I get tailgated by people like that, I'll downshift every so often and not hit my breaks. They usually back off

I’ve also got a dashcam with a second, rear-facing camera; However, Pennsylvania only has a rear license plate...
