    I have a 2000 tacoma... 2.7l 3rz engine..

Sooo.. I took my intake off and I came across this plug that was unplugged, that's to say I'm pretty sure it was unplugged cause I'm labeling them all as I go, but now I'm second guessing myself.

its next to the starter. if you follow the wires away from the engine it's the last plug before they go along the tranny.. if you follow the wires toward the engine you get the iac plug and another one that's green.

Long story short, i'm in the process of pulling the head and i'm taking it slow as ive never gone this deep before. (Watch my progress https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3I7tQDjGnCOKAzPhDCwn4w) Thanks for the help!!

Humm. Which plug are you asking about? There's a couple for the VSV for the EGR back there, a couple of sensors, etc. What year? If its a ~2000 I have pictures from when I did my head.

The pictures look a little fuzzy, but could it be the knock sensor?

Ok, nevermind.. upon closer inspection, after getting the whole intake off, I realized it's a capped off plug, thus nothing I care about. I pulled the cap off to take a quick look.

    Thanks guys!
