Howdy from your neighbor in Mississippi. I was just seeing if anyone in or around the Arkansas area is doing OVTune for a 3rd gen? I'm putting feelers in TN and AL threads. Just curios what you may charge and where you're at.

I'm not far from Memphis, so if your relatively close, that's even better.

    TIA!

Got my Tacoma flashed with the vFT 2.0 file late last month and its a vast improvement over the stock tune. Its a shame really that these trucks didn't have the equipped tune from the get go. Unfortunately wont be back in Arkansas until late august next year though. If you still need a tune by then, may be able to do it on my way back. Hopefully somebody near you can help you out.

Couple of guys up in StL do the tuning, if you're ever up that way.

Otherwise, if you can make it to the Shamrock Shakedown, we'll have a few there that can do tuning (hopefully)

Pretty sure there’s a few guys in the Oklahoma thread that do it, but that might be far from you. I bet you could find it closer.

Oklahoma is a bit far. Little Rock was about as far as I felt comfortable going. But I appreciate the reply!

Well I don't remember exactly what I said about being cheap but I believe I said that I needed to fix the motor on the cheap. Which for me means that I needed to fix it for a few hundred bucks. And from every 3.4 I've seen for sale. They run about 2 grand shipped. (Cheapest ones) . And that sure isn't in my budget. But good news is that I found another crank for 100 bucks and just got through rebuilding the motor and I'm going to put it in this weekend. And I've got about 280 bucks in it. That's including new bearings, rings, gaskets , timing belt , plugs and oil. Heck, I only paid 500 for the whole truck and the motor was the only major thing wrong so other than new fuel pump and hoses and rebuilding the motor, I'll have a perfectly fine drivable 4x4 for about a grand. That's if it all goes back together like it should. Being this is gonna be my backup truck, and the fact that I am poooooor, I couldn't put much money into it. Not that I'm a cheap person, I just have to be that way with my extracurricular activities. Or trucks.

There's nothing wrong with being cheap, my man. When you get a good deal for something and work to keep it cheap, you've normally really got something for the amount of money you have in it. I always think about the sweet deal I got on my jon boat setup every time I find myself shopping for nicer, pricier duck boats. :(

Should be able to spread out. It has plenty of parking lot. There are some guys from the Toyota Trucks of AR that I know are planning to attend. It will be a mix of all types of Toyota trucks and other rigs. No need to crowd into a tight coffee shop if the weather is good. If the weather is bad, I'll stay at home and wait for the next month.
