Hey guys. The tape was definitely on the end of the pulley. It’s just how the shit was taken. The pulley was custom made by my father in law so wasn’t an off shelf buy. If the measurement is taken from inside the ribs then I would agree and say it’s a 2.4

My goal here is to cut the snout back as far as possible to get a 1.9” of so pulley. Then dyno again.
Also I would like to install an oil pressure gauge.
Any idea where or how this is possible?

Also, I'm pretty excited to see someone else going for the sub 2" pulley!!

 

Ah yeah I’ve heard of these sandwich plates but didn’t know much about them.

...and yeah I’ve been so tempted to go as small as possible with the pulley but wasn’t sure about cutting the snout right back with having that snap lock in there. But as you said I can take it out and it won’t affect anything. I’ll work out a way to fill the gap as you did.

On that note. In the spirit it of mixing things up a little........how old is everyone??? I’m 46. I’ll be 47 in March, I look like I’m in my early 30’s and act like I’m 25 most of the time.

Mine is a prosport sandwich plate and I use both ports one for oil pressure and other for oil temp. Most of the sandwich plates seem to be similar. Main thing is when torquing down the plate to the oil filter housing DON't go too tight or you can smash the o-ring on the bottom of the plate and you'll get oil weeping out - that seems to be the biggest issue with these.

Where driving the same boat man, I'm 45 - can't say I look 30ish, but do feel like 25 (atleast mentally)!

 

I can pretty much copy paste this as my description! Only difference is I'm almost exactly a year younger (birthday in April).
