    Not really sure how I ended up with so many, but I just came across a stash of
    $40 Baofeng UV-5R Ham Radio Long Range Handheld UV5R Dual Band 3800mAh Rechargeable Two Way Radio Walkie Talkies for Adults with Earpiece,Speaker Mic and Programming Cable Full Kit (Black-1Pack)
    Baofeng UV-5R radios in my closet that I don't need. The kits include radios that look like new, original battery, a AA battery pack, a 7.5 inch upgraded antenna, original battery charger, and Baofeng speaker/mic. All packed into a form fit soft case. I have 2 of these remaining. $50/each + actual shipping. I can also program them for you before shipping out if you send me a list of what you want programmed.

    I think the UV-5Rs are actually discontinued, but yes, you can get them for like $30. It's all the accessories that add up -- the quality aftermarket antenna on it's own is $15-$20. If anyone is interested in these, I'll happily price match any similar "kit".
