My truck has the TRD Off-Road package and came from the factory with what my friend @PennSilverTaco calls a “locking rear diff”...

So, my Subaru was gifted to me when my uncle died. It wasn’t put in the wheel however since I had the crappy us car in the family at the time they gave it to me. I was all excited as it was an outback with low miles. My excitement quickly diminished when I went into car and realize that he was in continent for the past couple months driving to the car and it smelt terribly! However, I was still very very very very thankful and I proceeded to get it cleaned and replaced the seat. Also, part of the good is I was able to sell my Toyota matrix at the time for top dollar at $3,500. So, Toyota and Subaru are my favorite and probably will be for life!

The car is a base model 2013 Subaru Outback which now has 68K miles...

My daughter has a 2010 Subaru Forrester. She’s an excellent student and worked hard so I bought it for her to be able to get around independently. However I never looked under the hood or had it inspected by anybody. I went to the dealership saw it and we bought it. As we were leaving we realized it was super super loud but she continue to go home. Once she was home we realize she never took off the emergency break and that’s why it was really loud. But fast for forward two years and it’s a great car and she loves it. @PennSilverTaco installed a Bluetooth stereo in it for her, and the car presently has a little over 100K miles...

I laid out this build thread for Gwyn, and I did these “Reserved” spaces LIKE I SHOULD HAVE DONE on what eventually became my build thread because I wanted to ensure that any future mods didn’t get lost.

Plans for the truck include a touch screen HU with a backup camera, Weathertech rainguards, and possibly tinted windows; If I had my way I’d put a complete new stereo in this truck, though the factory stereo is actually halfway decent!

I'm surprised by how good the factory speakers sound; It's like Toyota really took a step backwards with factory stereo systems in the 2nd Gen! My factory speakers sucked!

I’ve decided that I’m going to focus my funds on renovating my kitchen as opposed to modifying the truck for now, but my truck is coming due for new tires...
