    I don't know about that. That back one doesn't look pressure-treated.

    Would make for a great video to be honest. “Bobbed Taco gives back to nature using wooden rack system”

    Are you trying to follow body lines? Otherwise you could just create a loop at that spot that allows the door to open through it. Also will/have you box/ed the rear frame to take off stress from frame flex when combining the rear frame to the sliders via the rear bumper?

    I like how we are going back to the original plan of this being a budget camping truck.

    I finally got a chance to open this tent and lay in it. It’s the absolute perfect size for 1 person.

    Jaime, I speak like half of a language. You’ve got at least 2 under your belt. If anyone is the genius here, it’s you.

    Here is my sweet drawing of what I'll be doing with the bed. It's all tube, I just used different colors to differentiate in the drawing.

    Red = bolted to the bed bolts
    Green = bed bar
    Orange = tube typing bed bars to frame tube
    Blue = bedside sliders. I'll cut two holes in the bed on each side and pass tube through and add a 'slider' on the outside. These will be on quick disconnects for ease of disassembly in the future.

    And there will obviously be two bed bars, but this was easier to illustrate.

    I think I'd just bring the orange lines straight up. If they're supported on the bed bolts, I think stretching it to the bed rails is just wasting space. Unless you used it as a hilift mount or something useful. Unless you're using the bedrails as a sort of quasi-triangulation for the slider sections.
