    Hi All!

Ram 1500 overheated on the hwy near Atlanta so I drove straight to the Toyota dealer and bought a 2020 TRD Sport 4x4....purchase delayed my hiking trip by 5 hours but was in the woods that night without loosing much vaca time.

Just purchased 17x9 rims, 275/65R17 KO2’s, and 2” front spacers to level the rake.

none of this is installed...so dreading the rub I’m expecting and needed trimming.

love this forum, decided to join as I expect to be adding many items as I go.

Welcome.... just to clarify, you bought spacers for a 2” lift which would be @1” spacers? Or you bought 2” spacers to achieve a 4” lift?

2” front leveling kit from Mammoth. All the local truck places stock 2.5” level kits and tell me the front ends up a little high so it squats a bit....so I ordered these.

Ahh that’s better... those are likely 1” spacers for your 2” effective lift. Cool! You shouldn’t be rubbing any place w 2”.

hell yeah! That sounds awesome. Hope you’re right man. I was hoping the 0 offset would make a ton of difference. My goal is to stick out 1/2-3/4” outside the well when it’s done. That’s the look o want.

pumped about the great deal on the KO2’s....was the only thing I loved about my Ram. Don’t miss the truck, only miss the tires, lol.

    I have 17” SCS wheels -10 offset
    275/70/17
    2” strut lift
    No rubbing
My prior tires were 285 with +30 wheels and they rubbed so you can do the math

Is there a way to tell of these 5100’s are the correct ones for a 2020 Tacoma sport? If so I’m going to but them and install instead of the spacers

@tackleman13 - I plugged that part # in on the bilstein website and it says for Nissan Titan. If you want the correct Billstein struts for your vehicle go to their website and at least get the Correct part number. www.bilsteinlifts.com

There’s a YouTube video on the quick way to install struts on a Tacoma that’s easy to find. It’s easier than the full dismantle which is how I’ve done it. Either way it’s fairly easy, with a good jack and stands. Spacers are simple. 3- nuts. Getting the strut off and on can take a little effort. The jack is your friend to relieve the shock pressure or create some. I shoulda sold you my new 3”/2” Ready Lift kit. Ugh

Yeah....I thought about if I was going to install them myself, but since I need to do an alignment also I'm having them put in by a pro. Cost wasn't too offensive. Stay tuned for the results tomorrow. This truck should be looking a bit more aggressive real quick. Really like these wheels and I customized the Cap TRD logos to orange. Plan is to add orange accents to the metallic grey.

Roger that. I’ve had tacos since 2011 so feel free to message me before you buy parts etc if you want an alternate opinion. Cheers
