My truck got no love this weekend, but gave my Gfs second gen a little upgrade and added a winch. 3F621624-C6D7-458A-A403-8305E3C50792.jpg

I've seen a few do it custom. Not a lot of room down there on a 1st gen stock bumper though

Yeah I agree. I was actually really happy how that turned out. She wanted to keep that stock look.

Since I work at a snails place, one side finally done! Almost. Have to repack the inner wheel bearing then the rotor/hub and caliper can go back on. Oh, and the shock too.

Then 3 more corners to tackle!

Smoked a brisket and put in my new headlights. I figured my bumper would cause me issues while removing the grill and I was not wrong. The damn support bars on the hoop are just close enough to make it kind of a PITA. installation was easier and I didn’t scratch the new housings.

It’s a small thing, but before putting the bed back on my truck I painted a Japanese flag where nobody will ever see it. A little Tacoma Easter-egg.

Years ago I painted a Union Jack on the inside of the hood of my Triumph TR-6, so this was the logical next step.

I’ll say this: the Rising Sun flag is a lot easier to paint than the Union Jack.

Also replaced shocks, replaced muffler, spliced a leaky brake line, Wool Waxed the frame. You guys in dry states don’t know how lucky you’ve got it.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Means Moog didn't think it worth it to cost engineer a cheaper one like they usually do. Good way to get a nice part for a cheaper price.

Where do y'all get your switches from? My rear locker switch had the light go out. My ocd hates it. Lol. I need the back portion of it. No luck on Amazon

Installed the water/meth kit. Ended up building a little bracket to hold the pump and box. Going to run stock pulley size for a bit before jumping to the 2.1

Now to get rid of that eye sore ABS unit.
