Has anyone put the Alpha on a double cab Long Box with a Go Fast Camper.
I know that the Alpha is only a quarter inch higher then the tip of the Finn but just curious if anyone has done it? Hate to pull the trigger and it not work. Thanks Chuck

For anyone running a lightbar in these roof racks, how are you running the wiring?

I got the Extreme LED 38” but the main wire is too thick to tuck into the windshield A-Pillar channel, which was how I was going to run it originally.

at first I tried silicone and that didn’t hold. So I added zip ties. Use a small drill bit to drill through rubber.

i used the kc wirehider. Turned out clean and took like 2 minutes. Was worried about the drill and zip tie method although I’ve seen many do it that way.

Does anyone have pics of the extreme LED x6s light bar position behind the faring?

Specifically where in the "plus sign" mount they have it and how close to the front faring?

I cant seem to get it positioned without some haze from sitting too far back I guess...

Does anyone have a pic of the backside of the scene pods ? Either the new 2.0 or the original Meso ones.

Preferably not mounted, but I’ll take what I can get at this point.

I have a few ideas for them , but need to see the backside before I pull the trigger on some.

    Thanks in advance

    Chris

Edit: Found what I was looking for , thanks

I took me forever to get it to a point where the light shined straight ahead and didnt cause the high speed whistle i was getting. This works perfect. I had to cut in half the plastic spacer included to put between the fairing and mount to get it closer forward tot he fairing. What causes the whistle is the the gap between upper part of light and fairing.

Honestly, it was a bit frustrating getting things mounted up on my end as well and I still have a gap between the bar and the fairing. I understand that the height adjustability on these bars is pretty much endless but I think the mounting hardware could have been tailored a little better to fit the Extreme lightbar option. Since I moved the height of the bracket like 15 times on the fairing, the front mounting holes are all gauged up from tightening things down multiple times. Not a huge deal, just makes me a little sad lol.

UpTop has an awesome installation video (like a 3D rendering) on their website but all of the hardware seems to be for the Baja setup so things look a little different. After messing around with the spacers, washers, nuts, bolts, etc for like two hours this was the only way I could get the bar to tighten down and sit in the proper location.

I do feel like the big plastic spacer could have been made out of aluminum also (since it seems to squish down pretty bad when tightening). I might do some hardware store shopping and see if I can find something better than the provided plastic spacer. I am also a little worried about the angle of the wire but I guess time will tell if it's affected

Still need to mess around with the angle of the light bar but I decided to get everything hooked up to test.

Saw your 12 day of Xmas sale.
I hate to ask but I'll ask anyway, worst you'll say is Hell NO

XMAS2020 get 1 free mount or bracket with any purchase of Bravo or TRUSS. (AAp is not included)

I want a bravo for my Double cab 2020, but wont really use a mount or bracket for now. Any chance you'll let me swap the free mount/bracket for a free pair of grab handles instead :anonymous:
