Yep. If you can't really enjoy it. Why bother with it. I would have been a nervous wreck driving it and worrying about somebody hitting it and doing enough damage to screw up the value thus making the final sale happen at a big loss.

Sounds like a stressful way to live at the very least. I wonder if that banker is still in business.

I think that bunch got bought out by the Bank of America and eventually got a pink slip.

I haven’t really done anything since a week before COVID broke out wheeling with the Texas Toyota Coalition crew. Now I just wrench. Work. Wrench. Graduate college. Work.

Need to get some trips planned. But if cases go up again why bother.

Same. I did 70ish nights camping in 2018, 1 in 2019 (as seen above), and 0 this year. Work, wrench, work, wrench, etc.

At least there's a vaccine on the way, hopefully a light at the end of the tunnel that isn't a train.

I think I'll head down to Arkansas next chance I get, its been a while.

EDIT: Or big bend. I've been itching to go there for a while.

Spots on the coast are always so photogenic. And so nice to be at - just sitting in a chair staring off into the surf is awfully comfortable.

Yeah my mindset has been if I can’t go out right now might as well work a ton of hours. But it’s getting to me some now. I’ve been thinking Big Bend or New Mexico when things settle after the holidays.

New Mexico is a treasure. Love it out there.

Its probably getting to me too. I'm pretty good at being alone, but damn, this year and last year have been rough. Next year isn't far away, but its hardly on the radar right now.

    New Mexico:

I just miss backpacking national forests/parks. This was a 2 day backpacking trip that takes you out to the coast and back -

Pretty hard to beat backpacking for the getting away factor. Last I checked a bunch of the backcountry stuff was closed due to covid, which doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense, but I suppose there's some sort of staffing issue there.

    Soon enough.
