I can relate to everyone feeling their age or older! Next to @Athlaos' Canadian years, expertly computed by @BillDaCat8, I think I'm also the oldest to admit their age...

I'm 53. I'm long past looking like I'm in my 30s, but my wife would say I act like a typical 20-something most days. :anonymous:

Hey guys, the mental maturity is where it counts. As long as you have your priorities in order and can be an adult when the time and the place dictates that's all that counts. Gotta be a child all the other times. :D

    ROFLMAO!

I suppose the C7Z might be viewed as the answer to a mid-life crisis, but I prefer to think of it as finally having the means to indulge my 20-something automotive urges. Besides, I cling to my youth thru the GT500 and enjoy driving both toys like I stole them... :burnrubber:

The Shelby saw 170MPH at the Colorado Mile, where the DA was over 8K ft.
    Pass 5 - 170.2MPH.jpg

Cell phone video of one of my CO Mile launches

Because this year's racing events were canceled, the best I've managed in the Vette is 143MPH (south of a border, of course).

170? I’d be fuckin scared to death.

Back in my 2wheel days, my Tuono and I saw 154 out in the middle of nowhere. The helmet visor was smashed up against my nose. The mirrors folded back on their own. And I had another gear to go. No. Thanks. I’m good.

Haven’t gone that fast before or since.

    170? Bawlz.

I can relate to that. The fastest on a track I believe on my moto has been 150-160 on a straightaway with a Franken Yamaha R6. I recall 154/155 on an old TL1000R coming across San Mateo Bridge. I can't imagine doing that on anything but straight away but even then that shit is scary AF. Those 2 wheeled beasts, are still the funnest and scariest powered vehicles to me.

I'll play as well bones feel like they are 80, the mind still thinks it's 25 but the body just hit 39 this fall. Great to meet many like minds of all ages, we truly never grow up but get wiser with age.

    Triple-digit speed on 2 wheels = :hattip:

I'm impressed with how stable both cars are at high speed. The CO Mile is no longer held, but I plan to run the Vette in the next Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack (1/2 mile long run). I've had the Shelbly there several times. It consistently did low-to-mid-150s from a dig, in spite of a large traction deficit due to 733RWHP/713RWTQ. The Vette puts power to the ground better, it's more aerodynamic, and it's a few hundred pounds lighter, so I hope it will do closer to 160MPH from a dig.

There are no bikes at the PPAA, but there were at the CO Mile, and some of them were closer to 200MPH than I was. Those are the guys with no fear!

I cant imagine doing 200mph in anything that's just madness. I bet both cars are fun to drive. Just don't end up in any center dividers and fall into the "typical" mustang owner meme! ha. I need a mid-life crisis so I can hop on one of those. Last year I got a chance to go to the Porsche experience and after that makes me want a 911 variant of some sort. I can see why they have a cult following. 500+ HP on such a light rear bias car. That was really fun to drive. I ended up with a 911 Carrara 4S for the day. The GT3 and one of the others were way out of the budget (was a hookup on a work trip).

I drove 240km/h in my car once. Scary thing to do in a vehicle I assembled myself.

I think I occupied all points in space and time simultaneously for a moment.

42yrs old, and feel twice it. Despite what the VA says.

186mph on a 2006 Yamaha R1 w/ full Graves catalog on some random Wyoming road.

I’m not sure what my fastest 4 wheeled escapade has been, but probably my 2003 Mitsubishi Evo with a GT3076R on race gas. Stock longblock other than HKS 272° cams with the snail delivering 30psi while at rev limiter in 5th gear. ~175mph.

Outta my cars and trucks my record is something like this.
280-290kph in my r32 gtr, end of 5th.
    140+ mph end of 4th 6100-6200rpm (x1) in my 4runner
    130+ mph tacoma (hpt)
F250 100+ displayed but much faster no data logger about 5200rpm (diesel, built), 3.73 gears, end of 6 gear (zf6).
Rav4 think it hit 100mph, LONG time ago was with a tail wind think they had under 120bhp when new.
All done on closed courses. Mostly focus on corner entry and exits, not so much the straight line. I need to invest in a better lap timer and gps thing. And a chassis dyno. And a lift. So much still to do.

Around 500 kts which is almost 600 mph but that probably doesn't count since I was flying in the Navy at that time. The fastest I ever drove was 146 mph at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. I was given 18 laps at the Richard Petty driving experience in a car that had once been on the NASCAR circuit. I ended up being second out of 44 students but know that I could have done better if my car had been tuned properly. Like the famous Goose once said " I have a need for speed ". I almost bought the OV twin turbo kit but decided to wait for the reviews on it to come out along with the reviews on the Magnuson supercharger. My age is 68 and I look my age above the neck but look half my age below the neck since I have worked out my whole life.

I've have hit mid 120's consistently on the front straight of the local track on zx6r. Top speed was 155, I was hitting to soft rev. I don't feel like it had enough to over come drag to hit read line witch would have been 160. Oh mph of course. Top speed was long ago in a far far away land of mexico. I think in my taco... 90 maybe lol!

I’m 26. Fastest I’ve been in the taco was 100 mph which is definitely sketchy lol.
Other than that I think the fastest I’ve ever been in a car is my subaru. Somewhere around 120 mph. I was in mexico seeing what the speed limiter is (I later discovered it’s disabled)

I've returned mine using their RMA usps call tag. And they've prompted refunded my $ after receiving them. I had success using rippmods@rippmods.com instead of sales@ (what was suggested) to process my RMA.

Their email communication with me was prompt and resolution was found quickly. Cant wait to order the redesign!

    38. My wife constantly reminds me I'm almost middle aged. And she's from South Korea. They count your birth as the first year (so you're 1 y/o at birth), so I'm 39, going on 40 already...

Also a 2 wheel enthusiast here. Here's me passing my friend on his Ape with my 675 and quickshift. Just a joke vid. He's a much better rider than I

    I resemble that remark!

Sadly the VA's view is colored by who does your exams and what they write, which is heavily influenced by what side of the bed they got up on, the weather, and whether you use the right buzzwords with them. I've got a friend who's 100% "disabled," but still runs marathons. Meanwhile, there are days it hurts just to get out of bed, and I remain at 0% while being harassed by VA contractors who continue "evaluating" my claim over two years after retiring...
