OK’ed for new clutch parts per the TSB by the regional manager (even though not technically applicable to my 2018). Get it done this Wednesday. Hopefully that resolves the issue. Guess if it comes back will try the brake grease fix.

Dug up this thread on Google. This exact same issue just popped up several days ago. No squeaking or creaky spring noises. My issue is 100% exactly how OP describes it. It is a muffled clicking and you can feel the clicks through the pedal. So far only happens when it is cold. After completely warmed up or driving for more than 10 minutes or so, it goes away. So at this stage, it is intermittent. Truck only has 3,200 miles. it was parked for about a week, and then got in it and noticed it for there very first time. No problems driving. Clutch engagement is fine. Will address it at next service, but confidence level is low due to it being an intermittent problem.

    Anybody solve this riddle yet?

Sil glyde disk brake grease on the pivot point. The problem will eventually reoccur. Just keep greasing it every few months/years. The design of the pedal to master cyl rod linkage is junk. The tsb doesnt change anything. No updated parts, Just a molested truck. Grease is the answer.

So I had a dealer replace the whole clutch assembly and master cylinder and it was good to go after that. Hopefully that helps man!

Yep, I have. If you have already sprayed the spring contacts and pivot points, then the noise is coming from inside the cup where the piston rod makes contact. Spray some lube inside that cup. Problem solved for me.

Has anyone ever figured out how to fix the click? My 2020 MT started clicking and creaking so at my 1 year oil change they replaced the pedal under warranty. 4 days later the creak is gone but it clicks loudly and now the button that the pedal pushes to allow the truck to start, doesn’t get fully pushed. I need to slam it to the floor or it doesn’t start. Is that adjustable also?

Yeah, the pedal height is adjustable. You have to remove the lower dash panel by taking the screws out of the bottom of it and then gently pulling it towards the seat as uniformly as possible, then remove the screws holding down the two fuse blocks and move them to the side. The adjuster is a sensor-bolt with two nuts on it and wires coming out the top, if you push the clutch and look around you'll see where the clutch has a spot that hits the sensor-bolt.

Mine started clicking yesterday too. I currently have about 5000 miles on mine and it was the first time I noticed it. I was in traffic after finishing up the Christmas shopping and while creeping in traffic, I noticed the clicking and felt it on my foot. Only happens on first gear. Since the car is so new, I'm going to wait and see if it progress and get worse.

For the clicking, try adjusting the push rod so that there is 5mm clearance.

The clutch pedal in my 2019 started creaking around 6000 miles. I removed the pedal and lubed all the bushings and moving parts with Dow Corning Molykote EM-30L High Performance Synthetic Grease Lubricant. The noise hasn't come back, I'm at 23000 miles now.

You got a jam nut that you loosen then turn the pushrod CCW to increase length. Not too long, you want just a bit of clearance (5mm). There are 2 wrenches that you need. 11/12 or 12/13. I forget.

I still have a problem where, especially when cold, I push the pedal to the floor and the truck wont start. It takes a few times pushing up and down until it engages the floor button far enough to start. Is this adjustable as well? My 1st pedal did not have this problem.

Both clutch switches can be adjusted. See @Jeff Lange 's post.

Do you have the original thread link to this? Its such a pain to have to go to the dealer and spend 3 hours for them to tell you they couldn't find the issue. If I can do it myself that would be great. The clutch start button needs to be pushed about a 1/8" more when the pedal is depressed. If I can make the adjustment easily that would be awesome.
