I hope we actually get the snow they are forecasting right now (a foot plus!).

Where’s the dislike button! My yard is a mess, it needs to freeze and be covered with snow.

Looks like this one is tracking east just like the last one. Only due for 2-4" here. What gives? We usually get the higher amounts here!

I saw one forecast model last night showing almost 22" of snow for parts of RI, eastern CT and southeastern MA, but all of the meteorologists said the storm could move north or south, changing if we get just rain, or a couple inches of snow. So who knows until the day of!

Hah! When I used to use pandora it was a disaster. Shakira into five finger death punch. I’m all over the place. But yeah if shuffle worked I’d be a okay! Will probably convince the wife to convert. Just have to figure out transferring playlists from Spotify. Shouldn’t be too bad there’s a ton of websites I found that do it in theory.

my clover is actually doing okay! I was out front this morning. We haven’t had too bad a fall/winter. Isn’t a mud pit like it was last year. Hope that carries into the spring. Excited to see what I can pull off for a green lawn next year!

This is what growing up is. Being excited about lawn care.

so the typical storm forecast around here then. Between a dusting and two feet, we’ll know more 4 days after the storm, back to you Ted!

Not my choice of brew but I like where your head’s at!
My yard used to always be in decent shape. Then Covid hit and the only place my kids could run around was the yard. They’ve now pounded every ounce of chlorophyll out of every blade of grass I had, leaving only a baron muddy pit of a yard.

My Spotify suggested mixes are pretty well grouped despite my tastes being all over the place. Driving home yesterday I ended up listening to a lot of Neil Diamond and Eddie Rabbitt and I don't even know how I got there.

Oh the Spotify mixes are fine it puts genres together. Pandora I would just hit “shuffle it all” and away we go.

Right on, I spent most of the weekend in the trailer with the sled on the lift. Oil change, new belt (first one in 6000 mi!!), new hyfax, track tension check, chaincase maintenance with new fluid, checked all the intercooler hoses for leaks, greased the total of TWO zerk fittings on this entire sled. Also installed my 2nd GPS.. now I can have one all zoomed way in for intersections while the other one stays as a big screen. I'm registered in VT, NH and Maine, even though I can't go to VT.

BRING ON THE SNOW and almost more importantly, the cold!

    Happy Monday y'all!

    Happy Monday, organ sacks.
Weather Man said that we're supposed to be in the single digits Wednesday AM, but in the same breath he mentioned that Wednesday night's storm might track far enough out to sea that it'll miss us, so I shut him off.

Damn, that's a big downgrade. If it keeps trending that way, we'll end up with a shit ton of rain and a continuation of the muddy mess!

I'm good with it. I need to replace the roll pins in my snowblower and they're rusted in there good. Need to remove the impeller drive shaft to get at them and I haven't had time to deal with that nonsense.

I look at the forecast further out to see how much effort I need to put into snow clearing. If it's going to be cold and more snow, I'll do a better job and prepare for that. But....

    upload_2020-12-14_10-51-54.jpg

Few days of cold followed by warm and rain. Looks to me like I'll be clearing out the plow scraps for my wife's hybrid camry. Otherwise, not bothering with it.

Some are saying 3 inches and some are saying 20. This could get crazy! Let’s see how the wild peaks perform!
