I've got the ESAB sentinel and I love the hood but my only complaint i guess is since the shield is curved on the front and not inset like 3m or Miller i have a tendency to put it down on the front like i did with my old miller and i end up scratching the piss out of it. really my only complaint but it fits my head better and seems to allow me to get my head into shitty situations to see to weld things...lol.

But yesterday i welded up a battery mount for my bed so i can mount my battery boxes.

Yes, there is member here that has one of those tables. I can't remember his name, but he post often so I expect you will get a response fairly quick.

From what he has posted regarding the table, I'm impressed so far.

I have the original crossfire, the smaller table and I love it. The price is right, the quality of everything is up to par. The hardware is non proprietary parts so if you lose a bolt, screw, bearing, etc.. they are ridiculously easy to get ahold of. Langmuir themselves are a great company to work with, they get back to you very quickly and the customer service is great. They’re located in SoCal so it’s not like you’re waiting for something to ship from China or something if you have any issues. I had a control board go bad and they overnighted me a new one for free.

Make sure you get a good plasma cutter to go with it and you’ll be styling!! I have a hypertherm powermax 30 and the cut quality is great. With the pro, you’ll be getting a stronger table with a larger bed for bigger (or more) parts, optional THC (torch height control), and just a super awesome machine that’s actually affordable for a hobbyist.

Do you have any CAD experience? If not, don’t worry. I had absolutely zero before I got my table and Langmuir has all kinds of good tutorials for setting up the machine and also learning CAD on Autodesk fusion 360.

If you have any other questions about it I’d be happy to answer whatever I can.

@whitedlite has the PRO with a hypertherm powermax 45 if he wants to chime in.

Yeah, I'm still trying to decide what style I want the rear bumper to be. The hybrid look is cool but that of course means I'd need a tube bender. Well, my birthday is only a couple months away.....

Other thing I'm trying to figure out is what to do with the license plate. I'm not going to make a swing out, so I guess I have to make the bumper wide enough to accommodate the plate. And then there's the backup sensors, receiver, trailer plugs I need to also figure out. Thinking of putting the receiver within the bumper (instead of below it) for maximum clearance, then put the plate on one side and the trailer plugs on the other, with the backup sensors sprinkled throughout. Or maybe I just mount the license plate on my back window lol.

Mine will be for sale beginning of February to beginning of March. I've ordered a larger 8x4 side load table. Will be rocking the 45xp until I can get the powermax 85.

I haven't dove much into the fabrication side of plasma cutting, been designing things in Fusion for fun and I have solidworks, but I'm so used to Fusion now I haven't plunged in.
Inkscape is going to be for quick art cuts, make sure to download sheetcam, it's not free, but time is money and that program is too easy to use.

You hit the nail on the head, Langmuir has treated me very well. I had an issue that I believe was self inflicted and they handled everything professionally and quick. I even facetimed with the owner over the problems. Great company, however some of the electronics do come from China, not a bad thing just know it's not 100% USA product. Langmuir still runs QC on parts.

I've been building my own cnc plasma table for the last 10 months.

The only thing not made in china is the iron base that I built myself. Even that iron came from Canada, which I still consider domestic.

I know it's 100% built domestic, but that's, about it.

I don't know where software comes from.

My next table is built in Asheville NC. Everything is American made except I haven't looked into the software engine.
I know they do their own overhaul of the software, but I don't believe the code is written from the ground up in house.

Highlands Metalworks / Spark Robotics, I decided on them when I messaged the owner and he gave me a call at 6:30 central 7:30 his time thinking I had an issue, and then we just talked about the table and what makes his more competitive for the price. I ordered his newest table that he hasn't updated and put on website yet, but has posted it on his FB page.

thanks for the info. I remembered you having the original one and good to hear it’s treated you well. My dad has an older 4x4 torchmate but I’ve never used it or drawn in it so I know next to nothing about cad but he should be able to help.

the pro caught my attention as I want a 2x4 and this is just bigger and can still hold a full sheet of metal with the open sides so you don’t have to cut and have a ton of waste. They have 500 off and with a YouTube promo another 100 off but tables won’t ship till feb... kind of considering it.

what do you think of the plasma they have with their machines? I have an everlast but it doesn’t have the cnc plug but not apposed to another. If I did hypertherm I would think a 45 would be what I need as I plan on 1/4-3/8 for a lot of stuff.

which table do you have? The original or pro? Im interested depending on loactaion and price of course.

Definitely worth the money. It’s basically a money printer if you’re able to make and sell a lot of parts from the stuff you cut out on the table haha

I have the pro, I’m in Alabama.

You could even go with the HF 45 amp plasma. Plasma’s don’t have to have CPC ports, it just makes it plug and play.

I’ve been moving house numbers a lot, even made a listing that auto donates 10% to an Animal Rescue group on Nextdoor. That groups reached out to me the most to make them so I said let me give back to those giving to me. I wish I could adjust percentages, but it’s either 10% to 50%.

That’s rad bro! Whatever you can do to make some cash and at the same time giving back. The good karma of doing so will continue to bring you plentiful business!
