All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
What up? So these coils raise your truck or just help with Sag? Interested for sure, adding more shit to the back of my runner and it’s gonna get saggy.

yeah helps reduce sag when loaded up with gear or a trailer. Most people use them for towing but don’t see why it would work for when you got a bunch of shit in the rear of the truck

So do they raise your ride or just stiffen things up?

Cool. I am debating on leaving my runner sitting as it is for awhile. I think I may pick these up from you.
Just to clarify, these will work on the rear of my ‘18 correct?

actually they DONT ‘ STIFFEN ‘ things up

in reality the springs help U retain stock height under load + trailering

UNlike the Sumo variety that have the tendency to rid STIFF !

no less are adjustable when U r Unloaded

like was said above they will restore your ride height if you are loaded down and sagging significantly. You may also be able to get a little bit of a lift out of them, I'm pretty sure I did on my Tacoma (leaf spring not coils) but I also added the daystar cradles which aren't a thing for the 4 Runners.

There's sort of a weird trade though with airbags more pressure -> higher ride height, but also stiffer spring rate and the spring rate seems to be progressive (More compression-> higher spring rate) which can give a bit of a bucking behavior if your shocks rebound valving isn't up to par. This also makes it difficult to get full compression You could go with a taller spring and retain the same road manners, but if you have a lot more weight you may want the stiffness these add.

I would say for trailering or on road load handling, these would be a totally suitable option (from my experience). If you plan to do much wheeling, these will be more of a bandaid that have the unwelcomed side effects of limited up travel and excessive rebound forces at full compression.
