Great pictures, and sweet truck. What are you using to cover the shell with in the photo @ camp? I've been looking into concrete curing blankets to insulate my softopper.

Nothing major. -3rd Gen OR suspension swap. -Trailer light plug relocation.
I wondered up a local forest service road for the first significant snow fall this year. Or at least this low down.

I use a DAC truck tent - I have a sleeping platform in the back of my truck and the tent gives me the extra ~19inches of space inside while sleeping. Here is a better pic of it...

This is with only half the platform set up since I was the only one sleeping back there but usually there is a matching side for my significant other.

Gotcha. I have a similar set up but with no tent, and a softopper. I have been looking at concrete curing tarps (basically a thick insulated tarp) to cover the softopper with during winter camping. From that first pic I thought it was a blanket of that sort.

Whats your lift (if any) specs and also your wheel/tire specs? I'm guessing 17" TRD Sema wheels but what size tires?

No blanket but I do have to say that the tent holds insulation really well. That trip got pretty cold out in the desert so I ran my mr heater for ~5 minutes and it got nice and toasty and stayed that way for the rest of the night. That might have been assisted by the fiberglass shell too though. I dont think the DAC would work for a softopper unless you had some trekking poles or something to keep the tent up in the back though

Awesome. I live in Ruidoso and try to hit Cloudcroft and the Gila as much as I can.

I just realized I responded to your other thread. I think I saw your folks van again today.
