I would be more concern for reusing the bolts, they are a one and done deal.

Yup. Typically I would recommend new ones. But these are quite oversized (I think they are 5/8”). I’m not too worried about it at the moment. I’m thinking of getting a set of normal sized u-bolts.

What are your rpms at on the highway? I’m debating on running 255/85’s with 4.88’s, or 4.56 with 265/75’s.

Your build has shown me that the little 4 banger can still move even with some weight on it. I have hope. Lol

    About 2500 RPM @ 65 mph. 2700 RPM @ 70 mph. and about 3000 RPM @ 80 mph. She purrs right along.

Winter is coming so I sprayed the truck down with Fluid Film. Got a new spray gun to make it easier.

This made the job a lot easier. I wish I would have spent the $35 seven years ago.

    You’re pretty neat.

It works well. You can adjust the flow rate of the fluid film. So you can lay it down heavy or really light.

I’m not as neat as your long ass hair.

I was thinking about fluid filming my truck this winter but we don’t really get enough of a winter to care.

It’s been almost a year since I’ve had a haircut.

We don’t get much snow here but they still feel the need to keep the roads salted constantly.

Whats the 5th gear ratio? Those aren't too bad I'm pretty close to that with 35s and 4.88s with an auto.

Yea. I'm actually at about 3100 also. Your final ratio (0.71 x 5.29) is pretty close to mine (0.79 x 4.88) so it makes sense our RPMs would be similar.

Crazy idea: You could get a 2-spedd crawl box with 1.1 as one of the ratios.
