On my GX470 Rear end I run OME springs with Bilstein 5100 shocks. Rides fantastic.

Up front I installed my 2018 Tacoma TRD OR coilovers. A little soft up front, but was free!

did the front net you any lift? A lot of 4th gen T4R guys run 3rd gen TRDOR stuff. The rear shocks just need the lower pushing pressed out and different ones pressed in.

Kinda thinking about going this route for now, I can get TRD OR suspension for damn near free. I actually gave mine away, wish I had kept it now...ffs

Need to find some FJ or similar OE rear springs to get the bags out too.

I went with metaltech4x4 conversion kit + OME springs + 4runner bilstein 5100's + OEM isolators. The bilsteins are like ~$70 each.

I'm still waiting on my Dobinsons. Last I heard the front springs are due in late January and rear springs late February.

are the cone isolators really needed for the rear coil conversion? what purpose do they serve, since they aren't bumpstops?

BudBuilt can do sliders and skids for KDSS 470's, but are a "custom" item, which adds 50% to the cost and 6mo lead time, like was previously stated. Jeez...

There are no skids that clear the KDSS spacers currently. Just a heads up.

I’ve seen people run some generic isolators to save money. The short kind that really just serve to prevent metal on metal. Back when people first started doing rear coil conversions they literally just stuck the coil in place, and didn’t use anything at the axle to hold it in place better.
