Been thinking about selling my Porsche Boxster S. Decided on Thursday to do it. Mentioned that to somebody on Friday, who mentioned it to somebody he knows on Friday, who called me Saturday morning, who's coming down from the Cape with the $ on Tuesday. That was easy.

When I was looking for my truck I had let a super clean '15 for the right price slip through my fingers (kicked myself for that one...), but after a couple more weeks I found the truck I ended up buying AND find a buyer for the car I was driving then. Less than a week between going to check out the taco and having the cash from the sale of my old car+the taco home with me, sometimes life has a way of working out in the way in your favor

I've had them mount tires for me, very reputable shop.

 

I’m not sure if there is any shops that spray it in CT but the company I work for part time uses a product called New Hampshire Oil Undercoating (NHOU). I sprayed it myself with the truck on a lift and think it is a better product than fluid film. Much better odor, it creeps into joints and seams better and lasts as long as the FF I used on my dodge previously. I normally do a thorough frame cleaning in March/April and apply it and then again in October, so far so good. Just some food for thought!

Anyone still have success selling vehicles on craigslist? Or have thoughts on other good platforms to privately sell vehicles?

I recently listed a nice little commuter car I own and only got scammers, and it costs $5 to post a listing now which kinda sucks.

I hear that facebook marketplace is apparently a good option but I don't have a facebook account and would prefer to not ever have one.

 

Selling my little utility trailer if anyone is interested or knows somebody looking for one. Bought it new online a few years ago and assembled myself with the intention of using it to haul 4 kayaks but now the kids are older and 2 don't live at home anymore so we don't need to haul as many kayaks like we used to. Also, since I had the trailer I've started using it to haul lumber and furniture and really like having it but need something with a little more capacity. So it's up for sale so I can upgrade.

Bought it for $470 and added $300 worth of extras (removable sides, floor planks (still foldable), and tongue jack. Stores upright in a garage or shed if space is an issue. The PVC poles are just so I can see where it is behind my truck. Completely invisible in rear view mirrors without the poles. Listed as 1170 lb capacity but with the added weight of the wood sides and floor, probably more like 1000 lbs now. Before the wood was added, it only weighed about 275 lbs empty.
