Flew into and out of AEX alexandria kind of a creepy old air base turned retirement community it seems. We had wild horses, wild hogs and all sorts of snakes and spiders paying us visits haha. Horses were beautiful until I tried doing a 3 point turn with NVG and they run behind my truck in the dead of night haha. We came up on a convoy of tanks and decided to gtfo quickly. My driver couldnt see shit so I had to guide him from the turret. havent heard the patton horses thing sounds interesting. The hogs on the other hand kept trying to get in our toc and eat the canned bbq pork from the jimmy deans lol kind of messed up if you think about it. I was amazed by how many people hadnt used a slit trench before or even took a shit in the woods. All in all it was fun and the weather held up for us pretty well but glad to be home.

That's great! The leader of the herd is a mean white guy. He likes to stand in the middle of the road and stare ya down.

Moving back to conventional warfare training. Time to learn about slit trenches and pooping in the woods!

I have one of the stock predator steps for free if anyone wants it as a spare. If not it’ll be going to the dump in the next week or 2. It has a small dent on the under side on the left step. 66F59302-0791-42A4-89A5-A70F347A754C.jpg

That's a horrible idea. What time?
You're not going to miss it, you're driving into the teeth of it. Boston area is predicting 2+ feet.

Thanks, it's a long drive to make solo (10 hours), but I've done it many times and am used to it. My wife is from Lisbon, NH so I've been making that drive over the last 24 years. We bought a 100 year old house up there in 2014 that we rent out the first floor, so that ensures I make it up there on a somewhat regular basis.

Just a cold rain here in Herndon. Pretty miserable out there. I hadn't heard about the meteor shower, sorry I missed it.

Hey folks. A buddy of mine and I are headed to green ridge Wednesday morning for a night for the snow. Not sure how much wheeling we will do (they are calling for 12in of snow out there), but anyone is welcome to come.
