Facebook Marketplace is the new Craigslist. Pre-2017 I had only sold vehicles on Craigslist, and post-2017 I've only been able to do so on FB Marketplace.

On another note...

I’d recommend joining FB just for marketplace.
Offer up comes in second for me.

Purposely won’t use cl because they want money. That’s a joke.

I’ve sold cars on both fb and OfferUp and haven’t ever had issues, fb always got more hits.

 

Only tried it once, but I did CL summer 2019 for my wife's 15 year old Rav4. Paid the $5 at noon on Saturday, was filling out the paperwork noon on Sunday. Got a decent amount of interest and full asking price so I'd do it again. Never tried any other methods.

I did get a couple of tire kickers reply but I ignored one (obvious scam). The other offered $500 less if he has cash (listing said firm). I politely replied:

I'm curious what other unit of currency you would be using, because I really only take cash but please share.

Regarding the offer, I think my price is pretty fair. New tires and rims with 10K miles, brakes with 20k, and passes inspection. I have had 7 other inquiries in 6 hours so I think the market agrees with me as well. That said I prefer not to discuss price unless in person to begin with, so if you want to come by let me know.

So for those who have experienced it, how do Wildpeaks do in the Northeast winters?

 

I have had a great experience with my Wildpeak at3w’s; in the snow and on the trails. I know you like mud pits. They are not a mud tire but do fine in my experience.

I think @Blais03 is running their mud tires. He might be able to give insight on those.

 

Gotta love when people give some outrageous offer and say CASH at end like it’s a huge favor to you like cash wasn’t the only option.

My price is on the high end of KBB private party but the car has an extra set of wheels with almost new Blizzaks. Maybe I’ll get more bites if I drop the price and offer those separately.
