One things Iv never seen in the WILD.... that’s so calming to see

 

It is a great hobby

 

Wife and I were going somewhere in the evening and drove by something at roadside. I looked at her and her at me...was that a owl? We turned around went back, it was wounded and didn't move. I feared it could easily take my finger off so draped my jacket over it and took it home. Put in Cage and raptor recovery service came and got it. About 5-6 weeks later they called us and set it free from our driveway. It was a neat experience.

 

Never got into bee keeping. Never even looked into it or known anyone that does it.... one day I will

If you look closely you can find my little barred buddy. Swooped down into the road one morning when I was bird hunting.

 

I've always been a Boba Fett fan so when I heard they were working on this, I jumped on the pre-pay for 3 years deal. So far I've been very pleased with it.

Unfortunately I can't say the same thing about Apple TV+ but at least that was "free" for buying my wife's new phone.

 

It was a Baard Owl is I think how spelled. I have a coworker who keeps bees. I feel a little bad/guilty when spraying the snot out of clover to try and get rid of it. Sometimes there's bumblebees in there. Looking at Cory post guess I spelled it wrong.

 

My wife wants one, bad but raptor are a lot of work told her to volunteer at a rescue

Hat would be a great idea. I was pleasantly surprised there was a number to call even. And they came right out next day and picked it up. I'd have to ask wife the name we temp gave it lol

I haven't the best memory at times and just getting to know the group but believe Fargo mentioned the cutting out or back on carbs. A few years ago I changed my eating habits and ate absolutely no garbage (sweets, oreos, donuts, pasta) just healthier foods. I lost 50 pounds. I think it was a little too much to lose honestly, but I felt so much more energy and better in general. I need to get back there. Back to 225 lol edit I'm back at 225 now. At 175 people at work were asking if I had cancer or some sickness.

 

Yep ive seen quite a few also, barred owl, barn owl, burrowing owl, great horned owl, pygmy owl. Of course not all at once but over the years.

 

I always assumed they were seen more when dusk or darker than during the day... seems as if I’m wrong

 

We just put a honor box up for our neighbors to buy local honey. It’s been fun
