    Yeah, that's why I am surprised that I haven't heard of it until now. I'm sure Toyota knows what it is, but the cost/benefit probably still favors silence on their part. There will probably be a TSB for it eventually.

    They eat rear main seals like crazy. As long as the oil spot doesn't get too big and you keep it topped off, that engine is a veritable cockroach. I think I got about 7k out of my last RMS before it started dripping again.
