    Yeah green sticker is allowed.
I plan on going up and then hitting Blk Mtn. Then going down Toll Gate which exits near the entrance to Bee Canyon. If we get on the trail early we shouldn’t hit any traffic. No one does Toll Gate but if y’all decide to go back down Bee expect a lot of traffic.

Is Toll Gate 5S06? Just asking because I went down that way a couple months ago, and the exit onto the 74 was barely open with a bunch of heavy equipment in the way and the rocks were stacked up like they did not want people going in/out.

Cool, never heard it called that before! I was thinking maybe widow maker if that massive rock ever falls down. Good to hear they finally cleared that crap out of the way. I was able to get out but at first I was worried I was going to have to bust out the cat key and do some rearranging lol.

Haha. Yeah it was the first road up to Idyllwild and the rancher who owned the land charged the loggers a toll thus Toll Gate Rd.

Are you referring to Old control Rd/Red hill rd?
Edit: nevermind, the answer is yes.

    Yup. That’s it.
Actually if you take Bee and instead of going to Pine Cove you take a right at Red Hill and that will take you all the way down to Old Control/Toll Gate. It is a great trail. Just as scenic as Bee. I may just do that instead. Unless people are interested in doing Blk Mtn. Let me know and I can give the tour of either.
