I do see the point and your probably right. It’s a shame this had to happen to CDPR reputation because this was what they were against.

I’m still going to play it. I’m just talking right now lol.

 

I mean they can only optimize so much for PS4/Xbox X players. They will always be limited by the hardware. I think I have decided to shelf the game until I can snag a PS5. Will continue playing Warzone until then.

Duh people. PC is always the way to go, if you have the money. And money to keep updated with the latest stuff.
Me, not so much. 1 purchase for 7 years or so is good.

 

Bingo. I used to build rigs and quit because it’s a far more frequent refresh cycle than consoles (if you’re into it that much, obviously).

I got a PS5 and a 65” LG CX this time instead. I’d love a gaming rig, but I love sports and movies on this set more.

Anyways, guess I’ll finally play RDR2 since CP2077 is buggy AF.

 

Can Cyberpunk not play on PS5? I thought only the older consoles were having playability issues.

 

It’s the PS4 version with a patch. The proper next gen console versions are not out yet.

You don't need the newest components for a decent setup. Unless you are building tournament rigs or getting paid to play I don't see the need.

 

I played for the better half of the weekend and only had a few bugs. Nothing like what you all are saying. Weirdest one I had was Dum Dum never stopped following me after that early mission. Free companion?

 

Didn’t even think to mention that the graphics cards are getting snatched up on that market, too. It’s ridiculous. We got lucky on a Walmart stock day and walked in

I think it was moreso the repeated delays that got everyone ancy. If you can't guarantee a release date just slap coming soon on it. I'm still waiting on Beyond Good and Evil 2.

 

I was playing for a while and was ready to quit. I then got to the end of the second chapter where you "meet Johnny" hella intense. An hour before I could save and quit.

I love this game/movie/game-movie.

 

I used to update once a year but slowed down after the Pentium III came out. Then it was once every 5 years or so. I had a P7 6700X system that I put the 2070 Super in a year ago and just upgraded to a 10700x and set up the old one for my wife to use. She doesn't game so it's overkill for her. It has my old Nvidia 1050 and I put the 2070S in the new one.

It was running even smoother tonight.

 

crazy how a game that was supposed to be for Xbox One and PS4 wont play good on them. Its No Mans Sky all over again.

 

Had my first bug that couldn't be fixed with a restart. Couldn't pull out any weapons or even fists, even after reloading still had the bug. Google'd around and found the quickest most convenient solution was to activate a cut scene, which the easiest way is to get a hooker. Problem fixed right after.

 

Red Red Redemption 2 online had a whole lot of problems as it went thru beta and still keeps having them to this day. Same thing, worse on consoles.

Hopefully they will figure out how to get it running smoothly on consoles even if they have to drop the resolution/framerate/effects.
