    ok so where is everybody getting signal from to add a subwoofer? im assuming from the rear speakers, but the rear speakers are quieter than the front will the amp gain make up for that?

    You want to grab the front speakers

    as a rule of thumb, you want a signal from the largest speaker in the vehicle. In our trucks, these are the 6x9’s up front
