I like this. Everybody needs a pair of winter riding gloves

Probably going to keep it local and buy some HandUp Winter Gloves for the crew (and myself)

I've always worn Mechanix gloves. Summer, Winter, riding, not riding, they're my go to.

Yeah I'm a huge fan of the non-cycling-gear-for-cycling club but also like to support when I can

Interesting, I've just been wearing old dirt bike gloves with holes in them. The shop gloves give good finger movement?

    Yup, if they're sized correctly.

I like their gloves. The winter gloves are good down into I want to say the high 40s for me. I’m a fan of the simple design

Awesome, I think I saw them for sale at the local costco actually.

Next time I go I'm going to have to try on a pair now.

I actually work at Handup now. The ColdEr ones I’ve ridden under freezing and it didn’t bother me too much. But if you want them you need to get them soon as we’re almost sold out of cold weather gloves.

Personally the wool socks is where it’s at.

Oh that’s cool you work there! How do you like the windbreakers?

I think they’re pretty sweet. Some of the guys here wear them nonstop, riding and in the office. We just got a restock yesterday, can’t keep them in stock so I’m assuming everyone else likes them too. They pack up pretty well if you get too warm also.

Are they pretty breathable? Only other windbreaker I’ve worn felt like I was wearing a garbage bag lol. It’s hard to find the right balance between warm and breathable in colder weather for me.

I would say so. It’s not waterproof, just resistant so it’s not as thick as you’d think. But it definitely keeps the wind out.

most people are skeptical about our pricing, but we try and keep everything affordable. Cycling industry markups are absurd if you actually knew how the wholesale prices are.

Cool, thanks for the honesty. The wind is more what I worry about than the water, because our trails aren’t rideable in the rain or wet.

No problem, no sense in lying about any of this stuff. Don’t want anyone to be disappointed when they get things.

I’ve ridden in our flannels and wool socks the most when it gets cold. Not sure where you are but Tennessee that’s about all I need personally.

I got hooked on his channel this spring, and I really like that black and green trail jacket he wears!
