Is this like The Price Is Right where you have to rearrange the numbers to be correct? 22K is insane

    :D
I bought my 2001 4door 3.4 4x4 with 180,000 for $1500. Some rust (not terrible) supercharger needed rebuilt and a little TLC but was original owner and also regularly maintained.
So you’re telling me I could get it cleaned up and sell it for $10,000 more than I bought it and still be $10,000 cheaper than that? If you’re patient I’ll sell you mine when I get the supercharger finished for $13,500

    Jk It’s not for sale:D:D

    Stock - for now
Rust free, TRD double-cabs aren't cheap.... But that mileage isnt exactly low - fair asking would be $12-14k...

You all should see the crazy asking prices over at Davis auto sports and kings chariot...

Yeah agreed with everyone else. When I was looking for my first truck 12 years ago I was looking at these trucks (2000-2002s) and they were like 10-12k. Laughable that 12 years later they are asking 12k more

for a comp my brother bought his 2002 Tacoma extra cab with 53,000 original miles for 7,300 back in 2010. Granted not a 4 door but still

I could almost buy 2 1st gen Tacoma 4x4's here in N.C for that kind of money. Way over priced. Like every one else has stated, 10-12k at the most. Keep looking, and don't overlook the SW states like AZ, NM, Nevada. You'll find a decent truck, just be patient.

For 22k that thing would have to have under 60k miles on it to even get my attention. Even then I still wouldn’t buy it.

that truck does have the limited adjustable bucket lumbar seats & very easy on the skeleton for the long haul, ask me how i know
i would comment on the 'fair price' of it but its NOT the truck for me
but i find 4 doors are icky tacky and not a real truck per se with small af bed for real truck stuff like ladders etc.
automatic transmission is not for me either, real trucks don't shift themselves

it is black though, so thats a +++

as stated before, they are likely getting ahead of the curve, so not very likely & they will sit and wait if not in an emergency hurry to unload

My '06 V6 TRD Sport Access with 105,000 was bought for $15,000. I thought that was stiff, but Tacomas in this area are on the lot for hours, at most a couple days.

While 3rd Gens collect ice and snow on the dealer lot.......

I bought my black 2004 Access Cab with 9,500 miles on it in 2007 for $20K. I added Line-X in the bed, an ARE shell, add-a-leaf, Recaro seats, and upgraded the radio. Today, it's got 90,000 miles on it and runs perfectly. Before deciding to keep it, I had contemplated selling it and asking for $15,000.

No way would I pay $22K for that truck, OP. IMG_0090.jpg

This is coming from another1st gen Tacoma in the Cali market

While our trucks demand and get far more then kbb in our market, that truck isn’t worth that much. I would say around $13,000. Granted that is based on quite a few 4 door 4x4s with around, and over, 200k miles fetching about $10,000 give or take
