I just stuck a couple foam earplugs in those open holes. Seems to be working well.

Im not the handiest of people.... had to buy some new tools but I managed to install my prinsu roof rack this weekend with a box mount. Still figuring out how to mount my off brand Amazon "max trax" boards (placed them up there for photo op haha)

Prinsu rack looks good! Any issues with drilling the holes through the weatherstripping and sealing them?

I just cut the weather strip into separate pieces, rather than drill holes. Then used the silicon over the holes for a water seal....hasn't rained yet, so I'll report back if theres any issues haha.

Well I know this mod isnt for everyone, but this winter I’ve found myself sitting in the truck idling at night in the woods.

Some of the dash lights in the cab feel super bright. The blue illuminated P on the gear indicator is very bright too.

Wanted to dim things in the cab. I like it dark in there, if you’re in the city there are enough lights outside where it probably isnt noticeable, but where I live its pitch black at night. I use my high beams all the time and the blue high beam dash light is too bright for me. I want my eyes to adjust to the darkness outside better.

My old jeep had a master dial that controled the brightness of all the cab lights; you could turn off all the lights, including the speedo guage back light.

Anyway, I got static cling stuff to dim some of the brightest lights in the cab

Ha! I'm glad to see someone as crazy as me! I used the dimmer to get my dash lights just where I want them, but I found the gear indicator to be distractingly bright in the dark, so I put a film of tint over top as well. All is right with the world now.

How was that front runner install? I threw a DB on mine last week and the bars are next, but drilling into the cover makes me pucker up quite a bit (I was thinking of having it installed so I wouldn't stress about it). Looks great btw.

    a few...
Installed the Brite Box which allows to you to keep your foglight’s on when you turn on the high beams. Important to me as I have the Rigid SAE D-Series Amber(yellow) fogs on the truck.
