Yeah I went with Rokblokz XL for just that reason - they are longer, as long as 2nd gen OEM flaps but wider.
Thanks for the info. Unfortunately shorter than stock means they don't function well as mud flaps. They look cool though, like those on 1st gens.

I'm a big fan. I helped them do some testing to check durability and flexibility. No complaints here. Can recommend.

You think these fit better than OEM?

What about the cheesey spacer on them ? I wasn't too impressed with the fitment but they are pretty cheap. At least OEM are moulded, albeit too long.

i sent tufskinz an email from their contact page, on their website, asking if they made longer flaps. he asked me for my dimensions. i will report back, with what they say. i asked for the same width, but 3" longer than the current flap. will come out to 11"X18". Ski

Different strokes. Mine fit great and the “cheesy spacer” is working fine.

Would you be able to provide the dimensions length width? or how much larger they are than stockers in length and width? I' have zero offset 16x8" wheels and the front stockers do not catch gravel flying up and hitting the rocker panels.

following up, they will custom make you any size you want, if you contact them. give them your dimensions, and whether you want the 4wd logo, or not, and what color. they will send you a paypal request, shipping is free, and the updated size does not cost anything extra. these are custom ordered so... if you give them the wrong dimensions... you own them, no refunds. so... measure several times before, you commit!!!

i ordered 11x18, with the cement 4wd logo on all 4 flaps. they said 5-7 days to make them, and then the shipping time. should have them between christmas, and new year, if all goes well. Ski

UPDATE: Received the longer tufskinz flaps today! faster than they said! they are about 1" longer in front, and approx 2" longer in the rear, than the oem toyota molded guards. I went with the 11X18 size, v.s their "Stock size of 11X15. they fixed the directions so the spacer orientation is correct now. the 4wd logo in cement looks great. kinda wished i went with the old school white logo though. install is easy, takes all of 15-20 minutes for install. looks like these will keep more road crap, off the body panels. i will try to get some pics up when the weather breaks. Ski

I ordered them when the dealership finally secured my truck back in July and it was already built and in route from the factory. There were 2 accessories I wanted the truck didn't have bed lights and mud guards. The dealership said they would just order the stuff when I picked up the truck and get me to come back for it....
I didn't really want to have stones chip my first brand new vehicle so I went online and got the tuffskins ones with Cement logo. Shipping was fast. They came the day after I picked up the truck. The spacer is a little weird but no issue. I don't off road yet but they didn't hold a ton of snow like the molded ones my Jeep Liberty had. I'm pretty much happy with mine. In hind sight I should have only got the 4WD logo on the rear but i still like them

here are some pics, both sides, you can see how far they hang below the exhaust tip, for reference. if i had to do it again, i may have went with 20" length on the front flaps. I feel, the longer they are, the more crap stays off the majority of the truck. 11X18 is definitely better than the stock length, for keeping slop off the truck. Ski

Those look good. I too am not necessarily an off-roader and like to preserve my body aesthetics, thus I agree with your assessment and custom dimensions. Thanks for the write-up. I have been looking for a wider and longer flap so this may very well be the answer I was searching. Yes Sir, the custom flaps will answer the call. Thanks again.

I use heavy duty flaps on the GMC 2500HD which work very well; same approach, wider, longer, with full CC length runners. Not one rock chip on the GMC.

    OEM flaps and aftermarket runners.

    Mud flaps ...functional ..looks nice...!

My experiences...when ever you back up off roading...especially on rocky terrain...these flaps will be push back towards your tires ( by rocks in reverse) and tear off...
Just be aware...reversing when you go off roading...?
    Aloha,
Anyone here had this experiences ..?
