Yikes on that oil. Several people including me found that Wix filters may not be threaded to the correct pitch. Make sure if you got a different brand that it isn't an engine oil filter. They won't work right with hydraulic pressures.

I had a wix on my Duramax once. Never again. It fell off after about a month. Threaded wrong.

Check out the new kubota b2401, all gear transmission. Personally though I would go with the kubota b2601, hydrostatic transmission holds up to just about any abuse you can give it. Just do your routine maintenance.

That's the problem with the Wix on these. Mine wouldn't thread on. It was gonna destroy the threads. I was pissed and slam dunked it in the trash. Another guy on my tractor forum had the same exact experience.

Some people cross reference the Cub filter to an engine oil filter and then the hydro won't work. The cross references go to any filter with the right thread and sometimes that's not rated for hydraulic pressures. I won't use anything but a Cub filter on my 3 tractors.

I read good things about these lights. I wasn't sure how bright 18W would be so I bought spots for the front figuring I could focus them in a small area. I was shocked to have them lighting up 70+ yards very well. I'm glad for the small amp draw as garden tractors don't have a huge charging output.

Anybody know the difference in kerosene and off road diesel?

We have a tank and pump at our store with roughly 100 gallons of kerosene in it and we’re fixing to remove the pump and tank.

Can I run the kerosene in my 1993 Ford 4630 if I add some lubricant with it like a power service product?

It’s mechanical injection pump with no computer mess.

kerosine doesn’t have the lubricity diesel fuel does. Some engines will be fine with it, others not so much without added lubricants. See if you can find any literature on the engine in your machine that my state kerosine is acceptable.

@MDFM31 The bobcat subcompacts are made by kioti. If you look closely, they’re the same tractors.
And 2020 and up kioti subs have kioti (daedong) engines in them.
I’m new to this type of tractor, but I’ve had a kioti cs2210 since July and have been pretty happy with it. You want a good relationship with a dealer though, as parts aren’t quite as easy to get as say kubota.

Thanks for the warning. This one has the Cub part number referenced on the box, so hopefully it's close

I’m in the process of buying some property about 1.2 hrs for me. I would eventually like to get a used bobcat high flow skid steer, with the longer distances and heavier loads, I also need to get 1ton, currently looking F350 DRW chasis crewcab, 6.7dsl, with 9’ flatbed.

    suggestions?

I know the 6.0's were riddled with problems, I don't know anything about the 6.7's.

The mini skid steer gets to spend the winter in my basement so I can finally finish working on it. Don’t judge me, I’m in the midst of cleaning out the basement so it’s a mess!
