Those fogs are closer to spot lights aren't they? I don't fully understand the line that determines spotlight vs fog but if its gonna blind others doesn't sound like a smart choice to run them.

Not sure exactly which ones they are but like you said, i would only run these when there is nobody around.

The difference between fog lights and spot lights is the shape of the projected light beam.

Fogs will produce a wide, short beam.
Spots will produce a narrow, long beam.

Many people believe the mount location defines the type of light which is not accurate.

I wear my amber sunglasses in fog, rain, snow......any weather or driving condition prone to glare, day or night.

I run Squadrons, but not as fogs, they are wired with the Highbeams as driving lights so no one ever sees them on.

Man no joke, when the fall hits, i see at least 20-30 people with high beams on my 30 min drive to work.

Like people dont see that blue high beam light in your dash?! I sometimes can see it from inside of my van... Just shows how many shitty drivers are out there. Dont get me started on people driving with no lights when its dark out or raining, just morons.

Yet they dont forget to wear the mask when alone in their cars...

Peeps don't even care when I flash the high beams back. I haven't seen a person flick them off in over a year. So, I have given up even trying.

LoL! Yeah. No lights or DRLs only also. Just amazing. Full autonomy for the masses cannot get here soon enough.

That funny part was that the other week, I saw a Taco with no lights on at night. That completely blows away my like for our 'foolproof' instrument panel lights.

I have the KC Gravity G4 amber fogs, they are much better than stock fogs. They are brighter and the amber light they throw is perfect for poor weather (I got them for use in rain and snow mainly). The pattern fills in the space beneath the headlights and also a little to the sides of the bumper. Doesn’t blind other drivers either.

Since I never had Baja’s or DD’s, I can’t compare the brightness to those, sorry.

I got a good price on mine since KC was having a black Friday sale, I think they have a sale going on now too.

I think this is most likely the route for me to go with, but later on down the road for my wallets sake. Thanks to all who commented and it was humorous ranting about bad drivers and lights. Being a highschool kid I see so many of my friends who will get 99's in AP Calc 3 and not try, but they get on the road and become a hazard for public safety lol.

I once flashed my high beams at a guy for not having his headlights on at night, and he flipped me off lol.

Maybe turning on a light bar would convince them to turn off their high beams?
    I might try it sometime.

Yep, same thing over here. I flick my high beams and the other driver is clueless as to what is happening, not a single driver turned off their high beams, ever. I still try though, some newer car's high beams are very bright and its super annoying. A lot of people with only DRLs here also, completely clueless. It rains a lot here in the fall and winter and you can barely see gray or dark gray vehicles without their lights. The problem is, the dash lights up with just the DRLs when its dark, so the drivers think that the lights are on...

More than half of the people should not be driving, no lights, no signals, no road manners... pretty sad.

    Haha!

I flick my high beams at drivers with no lights in the dark, but they just keep on driving with no lights...

How the fuck can you see?! I guess they dont need to see, everytime they get in their car they just hope for the best.

I actually drove off with my lights off last weekend, I usually leave em on auto but my battery was on the way out so I turned them off at the store.

Once I turned onto a road without street lights (maybe 1/4 mile away) I immediately realized they were off.

The worst tho is some fucker who delivers newspapers on my route into work, has 2 of the brightest light bars I've ever seen and blinds me every time. I always switch my high beams on to blind his ass back, luckily I usually go in early and see him.
