If this doesn’t prevent snow tomorrow at least it will make it easier to deal with.

 

Just got a recall notice on my ‘17 I recently traded in for the fuel pump.

 

I have no clue

 

Hopefully I’m not part of that recall, although I got to drive around in a 20 Tundra limited. 12mpg

 

Got the Me-So Customs wheel caps installed today. Much better. Crazy how much it changes the complete look of the wheel.

 

Got a similar idea since that "D" on the transmission is like a laser beam at night! But I bought a privacy screen for an iPhone instead so side-to-side view is dim but head-on (over top) is natural. I'll post pics this weekend when I get it cut up and installed!

Yah, its pretty nice. I did have one load bar hole that was not threaded far enough but Drew is taking care of me and sending me a tap.

 

Installed the Pioneer 6600nex today. Took a little work but def was not bad at all. I did not have the oem metal brackets as I gave them to the person that bought my oem radio. I had the Metra car kit that my other after market radio was using. I had to slightly modify the brackets to do the job but man it worked awesome. Yes they are not the metal ones but they work perfect. This unit fits PERFECT without a car kit. Setting it up took a bit. That was the most challenging part. Just getting everything to talk to each other flawlessly. Now I turn the truck on and bam it all works. As of now I def recommend thepurchase if you are on the fence.

 

Drew’s a solid dude. I had a few questions when I was in the middle of my install and he was just a phone call away. Customer service that is rare nowadays

 

All the steering wheel controls work and everything functions as stock? Did you have factory nav?

Yes everything work awesome. I used the Maestro RR to retain all functions. I did have factory GPS but no need for it as in now have car play and I use Waze.

 

It was 900 ugh for the deck. Another 150 for the Marstro RR which I highly recommend rather than using the other brands out there. And yes it does work well with the truck options.

 

Not trying to sound like a jerk at all, genuine question here. I’ve installed a double din in previous cars that didn’t have one but what is the purpose with our trucks? I imagine if you were to install a full sound system, the new deck would pump out more power to the speakers, right? Or am I missing the point and it is because of different reasons? I only ask because I would like to install aftermarket speakers down the line but was wondering if I should consider a new deck too. Yours looks great by the way!
