It was pretty slick on some of the hills. Didn’t take any photos other than the campfire in the dark since it was dark by the time got organized. Nothing exciting really, ut was nice to get the fresh air.

Oh, this is not bad. He had a chance to ride with me couple years ago at Ganaraska when we jumped with those shocks. They survived me, Eugene approved.

Have you checked other provinces? I noticed that Newfoundland Liquor has it in stock. Might be worth a TW express.

Thanks for the heads up. is that a decent price? i've not looked into Fox stuff or their prices. just know the name "fox 2.0". it's the equivalent of a billy 6112 right?

Would have to look at the specifics when it comes to shaft size and what not. Think a full 2.0 kit is roughly 1200+ tax. The 2.0s are also full aluminum. Only good for upwards of 2” of lift and you can’t really put heavier springs. Depending on future plans that may be a deal breaker.

well i'd only go the max 2 inches or so anyways. i don't see a reason to go above that with that i have.
in regards of the actual kit - what's in it? UCAs or something or is the kit all 4 corners?
in regards of heavier springs, are they heavier than the stock OR ones? if so, then that's fine. i dont have a reference point

not sure what any of the measurements mean in this.

    so essentially it's 1/2 price i assume?

The full kit is front and rear shocks. Mind you, fox 2.0 rear shocks are roughly $200 each, so the coilovers account for a large sum of that price.

The measurements are piston diameter. As you've seen, most aftermarket coilovers for the Taco are 2.0" or 2.5" diameter. Bilstein, being European, defaults to metric sizes, 60mm for 6112, 46mm for 5100. In general, bigger piston -> more fluid -> more heat capacity -> greater endurance before the shock fades on e.g. washboard surfaces. Obviously how the shock feels will depend on the shock's specific valve design.

Yes the Kijiji set is basically 1/2 price compared to current new prices.
