    one more reason I will be doing my own install. No Dealer/Stealer BS on not getting the SW to Flash - They don't want to flash a TSB so I won't trust them to find the mental energy to flash a third party SW - I'd be very cautious if I were you that they actually got it flashed.

    @The folks of OVTune and Magnuson, thank you for all of your help!!!

    I’m a little disappointed with the experience at Kendall of Eugene. I would recommend the Kendall of Bend who has don a lot more of these installs. I should have used them but the drive was +1.5hrs. Lessons learned, I guess??? I would rather have them tell me the truth vs the run around... now I get to drive my truck worrying if they installed everything correctly due to my loss of confidence in their “tech team”...ugh

    have them send the SW to you - you got the OBD connection kit with the purchase = anyone with VfTuner or OVTune can flash the tune they sent you (it is locked so you can't read or modify). Or just load the flash software from Magnuson and do it yourself. Both are easy. BTW - lots of OVTune/vFT people near you and certainly would help.

    What does the OBD connection kit look like? Is a simple cable with to connectors? Is it permanently installed? I want to make sure it ends up on/in my truck vs a Mechanic’s Tool Box!

    This and it comes in a handy case - Tactrix adapter (connects to the OBD connection under your dash) and cable that connects Tactrix device to USB2.0 port on your computer.

    Definetly be sure you get this back (all of it) as it is worth several hundred dollars - MAGNUSON could confirm cost and that they included it with you package.
