Anyone local happen to have a tech stream cable? Hoping to do a diagnostic check on my system without going back to Toyota.

I thought the front diff and tranny have a engine bay breather but I could be completely wrong been awhile since I did my rear diff breather. Snorkel is hardly ever necessary it seems (unless your literally over the hood) which I don’t see many Tacoma doing, if your keeping a good steady speed forward I have seen most people be okay without one. Though my Dad also flooded a YJ in the 90s (could be off on model) in a parking lot puddle. So you’re not wrong :burnrubber:

the front diff/tranny breather is located on the firewall fairly high up. You should be good to go to the upper part of the front inner wheel well

In decades past, my stepmom was involved in a teacher exchange program with Australian teachers. One of the things we would do every year is go snowshoeing up at Paradise on Mt Ranier. As I recall, there was no cost to entering the park, and the snowshoeing tour was funded by donation, so no cost getting up there. If you and the kids don't mind hiking up the hills yourself, go up Rainier for the sledding and be exhausted on the way back home
