Because I'm bored and impatient today, I broke out poor man photoshop and rendered a gold finish. I think I may stick with silver accent stuff after seeing the two side by side. Of course getting the shiny part of "gold" to come through is hard. Thoughts?

Black :D But seriously, it will be hard to go wrong. Either option will look great. Just don't go with the white or yellow pictured ;)

Yeah, I think if the metallic effect came through, the gold would be a lot nicer and less yellow which would prob sway my opinion.

Ok....I personally think the green is just a TOUCH too light for me to go silver or gold. This is where I think bronze would really nail it.

Bronze or silver gets my vote for sure. Not gold.

Problem is bronze is a color that few people actually make stuff in. I9 doesnt make hubs and stems in it, and Deity's stem isnt up my alley.

Id have to source a Burgtec stem in bronze which I like and IDK, chris king hubs, but I love the 690p engagement on the hydras so going back to 72 or 96, whatever CK is doesn't appeal to me.

I only have 1 color matched item in silver coming my way so far (silver seat clamp), and is easily returned so I can wait till I get a frame delivered to decide. All depends on how the green looks in person. I do think I'm leaning towards silver again though.

Do you happen to have a size chart for the windbreakers lying around? I couldn't seem to find one with all the others on the site, and that black camo jacket is calling my name. I just don't want it to be too large or small to ride with.

IDK about silver, but thats exactly why I'm hung up on the gold. I think if it was a deeper "British Racing" green, it'd be a no brainer.

Speaking of bronze, I reached out to Industry9 last week to see if they would be willing to hook me up. Oh well, was worth a shot... :pout:
    I9.jpg

Nukeproof and Chris King have made bronze hubs in the past, but they're both out of stock globally. I also don't know anything about Nukeproof hub quality since I've honestly never known anyone who owned them.

They also didn't like my request for a set in the raw so I could get a local shop that a buddy of mine runs to ano some stuff for me exactly the color I wanted.

I had a revelation. I remembered Renthal uses a pale gold color on their stuff. Make all the accessories black and go with a pale gold Fatbar. May just have a winner with the pale gold matching the pale green.

    Dude...Silver.
    1. Silver would look sick
    2. Silver between different manufacturers matches. Gold, bronze, etc, is a roll of the dice and often doesn’t match. Sometimes between the same manufacturer. Ahem, fox...
    3. Gold was the shit. Three years ago.

As far as I’m aware they run similar to our jersey sizing. I wear a large in both. I don’t think we made a chart for windbreakers and hoodies.

You do make a good point on the gold/bronze never matching.
