Ha! Well I was thinking of getting 4 just to have some spares, but decided on two so I can try them out first. And, speaking of moves, apparently my German light bulb dance moves worked since they’re both German made. However I read that the difference was negligible. Now I just need to find my dremel to cut that tab out.

Use a fresh blade on a utility knife and you can shave the tab down easy. It's how I wound up doing mine the other day.

One mod that only cost the amount of some goo be gone is the removal of the B pillar black stickers. On a hot day park your truck in the sun. Then just peal the stickers off. Use Goo Be Gone to remove any sticky stuff. I think the Tacoma trucks look better minus the black B pillar stickers.

Has anyone put side window visors on? If so, what brands are good?

Like rain visor? I use in-channel AVS ones. They’re low profile. They look and work great. Been on since 2 weeks after purchase. No problems

Bought mine used from TW. I find it to be very handy to "trap" things. I have used it for tires and boxes of various sizes. I am looking to build a "top" that I can use to quick-connect it to the front bed rail to make a sort of cage to secure an action-packer or two.

You can also flip it over and use it as a "headache rack". I've used it that way multiple times. Once was for a couple of 5' tall cylindrical tanks (water filter tanks) that I did not want to lay down because that would disturb the media inside. Transported them upright by strapping to the flipped bed divider up near the cab. Worked out great. Another time was when I had 4 kayaks piled up in the bed that I did not want sliding into the rear window if I had to stop abruptly. I've also used it to mount bike fork mounts on.

Those same bulbs were $6.93 each when I bought Nov. 2019. TW folks driving up the price due to demand o_O

I used an empty cylindrical Wet Wipes package as a trash can that I keep in the driver door bottle holder. Great for little trash, wrappers, tissues, receipts.... Empty it once a week when filling the gas tank.

Interesting look, kind of a retro 50’s look when Naugahyde was king. Are you going to do the seats and carpet too?

Are the plastic door panels painted with a saddle colored spray paint or is it overlaid with vinyl? It looks good.

Is a mod possible to convert manual heat/AC control to automatic dual zone? One of the only downsides of my 2020.

Used my center console tray this morning when I pulled quarters from it to wash the salt off my truck. It makes things handy.
